I attended, and graduated a year early from, Milford High School in Milford, NH, class of 2002. I went on to attend Rivier College in Nashua, NH, as a double major, studying English and biology.
My biggest stepping stone came when I began working at a small county paper in Pamlico County, North Carolina. The hours were erratic for that one night each week, but as a natural night owl, I didn’t mind much. Working at the paper enhanced my confidence and soon I had my first gig editing a novel – a memoir of a teenage girl. Since then, I’ve done dozens more books, of various genres, some via a publishing company and some on a freelance basis.
